Brian Mbabu is an Associate Advocate in the Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Recoveries Department. He joined MG Law advocates as a pupil in January 2018 and was retained as a trainee advocate from August 2018 up until 14th Feb 2019 when he was admitted to the Bar, rising to his current position. His areas of specialization include:-

His role involves managing and updating client databases, legal research and drafting, coming up with case strategies to ensure the best possible outcome for clients, gathering evidence to be used in trial, interviewing key witnesses as well as collaborating with and supporting other litigation lawyers in court.

Brian is a self-confessed motor junkie who enjoys the thrill of fast cars. He is a regular attendant of motor vehicle events and motor rallies. He also enjoys soccer and is a Chelsea fan (Go Blues!)

He also likes reading during his free time though admittedly takes to reading Law related books for the most part.

He is involved in representing various Banks including Paramount Bank, NIC Bank, First Community Bank and Jamii Bora on matters relating to the realization of securities. He was part of the legal team that successfully defended Jamii Bora Bank in multiple injunction proceedings leading to recovery of Ksh 430 Million. He representing of various corporate organizations and individuals in high value contractual disputes.
